Operationally strong, organized, solution-oriented

BBZ Bali is growing — and so are the tasks behind the scenes. For our next phase, we’re looking for a smart, highly reliable Studio Operations Manager (L1) who keeps our day-to-day running smoothly, supports new projects, and helps turn plans into real execution.

In the beginning, you will also be close to our clients to fully understand how BBZ works from the inside: you’ll handle key communication via WhatsApp/email/phone, coordinate bookings and prepayments, and ensure clear alignment between clients, artists, and management.

At the same time, you work directly with Zahra (management) and become the central operational lead: structuring workflows, coordinating service providers, supporting hiring/onboarding, and making sure our standards and policies are consistently followed.

This role is primarily on-site in Berawa. A hybrid model can become possible later — once a dedicated Client Care & Booking function is added.

About Beauty by Zahra

BBZ Beauty by Zahra is a small but modern beauty studio in Tibubeneng and a premium provider of exclusive treatments – already among the most popular addresses in Bali for Permanent Make-up, Lash & Brow Services, and personalized beauty experiences.

Our clients come from all over the world – visiting our calm villa studio or booking us for home services. From holiday guests to expats, they value our combination of top quality, serenity, and a personal atmosphere.

Alongside our successful studio, we are developing new projects such as the BBZ Academy and other exciting concepts we’ll reveal soon. This creates new opportunities for talented professionals who share our commitment to quality and creativity.

Our mission is to combine style, quality, and the true Bali feeling – and make it visible through creativity, craftsmanship, and strong visual expression. We’re building a passionate, professional team that shares our vision and shapes the future of BBZ Bali together.

What this role is about

Working as a Studio Operations Manager at BBZ Bali

  • You are the operational right hand of management (Zahra) and keep the entire studio running stable, structured, and professional.
  • You actively support the build-up of new projects and business areas: planning, organizing, executing, and following through.
  • You work closely with Zahra on strategy, priorities, and improvements — and make sure ideas turn into clear to-dos and real results.
  • You coordinate internal workflows and communication between clients, artists, and management — so details are passed on clearly and nothing gets lost.
  • In Phase 1, you also handle client communication (WhatsApp/email/phone), answer inquiries, coordinate bookings, and organize prepayments and follow-ups.
  • You make sure our studio standards and policies are followed in daily operations (e.g., hygiene, cleanliness, appearance, processes).
  • You support onboarding and help ensure the team works with consistent quality standards — aligned with BBZ’s way of working.
  • You coordinate external service providers and partners to ensure quality, timing, and reliability.
  • You keep an overview of tasks, deadlines, and open points — and bring structure and calm leadership without drama.
  • Over time, your role grows more into leadership and management (L1) — with real responsibility in daily operations.

What you should bring

  • Very strong English skills (our client base is international) and a good understanding of how Western clients think and communicate.
  • Preferred (not required): education/degree in Business, Management, Hospitality, Communication, or a similar field.
  • Experience in hospitality, customer service, studio operations, administration, or coordination – ideally with international guests/clients.
  • Strong communication skills: calm, friendly, clear, and professional – even under pressure.
  • Highly organized working style: you work with checklists, priorities, and consistent follow-ups to keep everything structured.
  • Confident in coordinating bookings, client requests, and prepayment workflows (WhatsApp-based support is a plus).
  • Basic understanding of numbers/lists and clean documentation (e.g., simple reports, payroll overviews, operational summaries).
  • Strong sense of responsibility, reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail.
  • Leadership qualities: you can guide people, set standards, and solve problems without unnecessary drama.
  • Discretion and trustworthiness: you handle internal information and sensitive topics professionally.
  • Basic PC skills are required; Excel/Word/Outlook are a plus. If you are willing to learn, we can train you.
  • You are based in Bali (or ready to relocate) and willing to be mostly on-site in Berawa in the beginning.
  • Hands-on mindset and ownership: you spot issues early, set priorities, and get things done reliably.
  • Well-groomed appearance and a calm, confident tone – you represent BBZ in the studio.

What we offer

  • A modern villa studio environment in Berawa with clear standards, calm energy, and a strong focus on quality.
  • A key L1 role close to management (Zahra) with real responsibility and direct impact on daily operations and growth.
  • Structured onboarding and clear priorities — you won’t be thrown into chaos; we build workflows and systems step by step.
  • A compensation model built for long-term commitment: fixed base salary plus company profit participation.
  • Profit participation payout: a portion is paid monthly, with the remaining balance paid out at year-end.
  • A role that grows over time: as BBZ expands and responsibilities shift more into leadership, your scope and package can grow with it.
  • A professional environment built on trust, respect, and clear communication.
  • Primarily on-site in the beginning; later, limited hybrid flexibility can become possible once additional support roles are added.
