What is Upper Eyeliner with Soft Shading?
Upper Eyeliner with Soft Shading is a Permanent Makeup treatment that combines a defined upper eyeliner with softly blended shading to create greater depth, dimension and expression around the eyes.
Using a digital PMU machine, the eyeliner shape is first designed according to your eye shape and desired result. Soft shading is then blended above or around the liner to create a smooth transition rather than a single sharply defined line.
The intensity can be customized from subtle and elegant to more expressive and smoky. This technique is also suitable for clients who prefer a larger or more dramatic wing, as the additional shading allows the design to remain balanced and refined even with a stronger eyeliner shape.
Upper Eyeliner with Soft Shading is particularly suited to clients who want more dimension and visual impact than a classic eyeliner while still maintaining a soft, sophisticated finish.
Compared with Upper Eyeliner Classic, this treatment adds blended shading for a softer and more dimensional result. It also allows for broader or more dramatic wing designs that require additional time and detail.
For clients who prefer only very subtle definition directly within the lashes, Lash Line Enhancement is the more discreet option.
